Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.08% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 4.00% or 33.2 points to trade at 862.2 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 3.39% or 640 points to end at 19530 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.86% or 570 points to 20500 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 15.91% or 42.4 points to trade at 224.1 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 4.35% or 40.40 points to end at 887.40 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 2.34% or 9.9 points to 413.7.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 74 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) rose to 5-year highs; up 3.39% or 640 to 19530. Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) rose to 5-year highs; rising 2.86% or 570 to 20500.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.43% or 2.88 to $81.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.99% or 2.53 to hit $82.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.43% or 25.55 to trade at $1763.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.07% to 6.4205, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4369.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 94.062.
