Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 3.34% or 95.0 points to trade at 2936.0 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 2.95% or 545 points to end at 19050 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was up 1.84% or 27.5 points to 1521.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 4.23% or 41.40 points to trade at 937.00 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 3.72% or 9.0 points to end at 233.0 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 3.71% or 20.4 points to 528.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 56 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) rose to 5-year highs; up 2.95% or 545 to 19050.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.40% or 0.28 to $68.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.39% or 0.28 to hit $71.16 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.95 to trade at $1751.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.05% to 6.3377, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4367.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 92.972.
