Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which rose 4.60% or 12.4 points to trade at 281.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 3.76% or 20.6 points to end at 568.0 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 3.19% or 3.4 points to 108.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 6.22% or 32.3 points to trade at 487.3 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 2.79% or 7.9 points to end at 275.3 and Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 1.67% or 11.00 points to 646.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 45 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.51% or 0.84 to $56.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.55% or 0.33 to hit $60.26 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.44% or 6.75 to trade at $1542.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.19% to 6.7428, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4563.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 98.357.
