Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 7.85% or 860.00 points to trade at 11,820.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 7.52% or 820.00 points to end at 11,730.00 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was up 3.93% or 14.20 points to 375.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 2.65% or 57.00 points to trade at 2,097.00 at the close. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) declined 1.06% or 12.00 points to end at 1,122.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 1.03% or 8.20 points to 786.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 66 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.13% or 0.09 to $71.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $76.57 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 5.60 to trade at $2,050.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.71% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 102.00.
