Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 5.01% or 4.72 points to trade at 98.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 4.80% or 23.50 points to end at 512.60 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was up 4.16% or 14.40 points to 360.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which fell 1.35% or 6.60 points to trade at 483.50 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 1.24% or 190.00 points to end at 15,160.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 1.21% or 190.00 points to 15,465.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 61 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.59% or 1.17 to $74.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.45% or 1.14 to hit $79.71 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.58% or 10.80 to trade at $1,880.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.94% to 6.92, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.83% at 102.79.
