Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 1.20% or 112 points to trade at 9424 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 0.73% or 65 points to end at 8910 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 0.45% or 2.0 points to 445.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 2.21% or 7.6 points to trade at 336.6 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 1.20% or 8.6 points to end at 708.6 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was down 1.00% or 2.2 points to 218.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 59 to 57 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.30% or 1.46 to $65.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.51% or 1.69 to hit $69.11 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 10.60 to trade at $1322.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.0721, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4495.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 89.74.
