Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.18% or 242 points to trade at 7846 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 2.34% or 6.0 points to end at 262.7 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 2.12% or 2.1 points to 103.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which fell 1.60% or 3.4 points to trade at 209.2 at the close. William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 1.18% or 2.3 points to end at 193.1 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 0.88% or 2.9 points to 320.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 47 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.27% or 0.15 to $56.07 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.49% or 0.31 to hit $62.95 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 7.05 to trade at $1419.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.51% to 6.6933, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4651.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 97.375.
