Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.05% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 1.76% or 35.00 points to trade at 2,025.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 1.73% or 195.00 points to end at 11,435.00 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 1.51% or 1.90 points to 127.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 2.75% or 32.00 points to trade at 1,130.00 at the close. Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) declined 1.58% or 2.30 points to end at 143.20 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was down 1.23% or 5.10 points to 410.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 72 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.47% or 1.16 to $77.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.27% or 1.06 to hit $82.30 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 13.35 to trade at $2,356.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.25% to 6.90, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 104.91.
