Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Real Estate and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 2.91% or 4.65 points to trade at 164.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) added 2.44% or 18.5 points to end at 776.0 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 2.37% or 2.5 points to 110.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 2.05% or 13.8 points to trade at 659.4 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 1.50% or 12.4 points to end at 814.0 and Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 1.16% or 8.00 points to 681.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 100 to 40 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 2.44% or 18.5 to 776.0.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.29% or 0.18 to $60.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.12% or 0.08 to hit $65.92 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 4.65 to trade at $1527.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.42% to 6.6897, while EUR/DKK rose 0.07% to 7.4731.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 96.510.
