Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH), which rose 1.99% or 5.0 points to trade at 256.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.68% or 6.2 points to end at 374.6 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 1.18% or 4.70 points to 404.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which fell 4.19% or 7.8 points to trade at 177.0 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 2.11% or 8.1 points to end at 375.6 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 1.43% or 132 points to 9124.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 58 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.19% or 7.8 to 177.0.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.77% or 0.52 to $67.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.43% or 0.33 to hit $76.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.10 to trade at $1201.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.57% to 6.4515, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4568.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 95.36.
