Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 6.75% or 442 points to trade at 6992 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 5.52% or 4.6 points to end at 87.6 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 5.25% or 5.85 points to 117.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which fell 3.69% or 41.5 points to trade at 1083.5 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 3.67% or 75.5 points to end at 1984.5 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was down 2.96% or 19.2 points to 630.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 44 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 3.05% or 1.08 to $36.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.82% or 1.08 to hit $39.40 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.18% or 20.60 to trade at $1729.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.44% to 6.6664, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4548.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 97.590.
