Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which rose 2.73% or 26.9 points to trade at 1013.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 1.41% or 5.8 points to end at 414.9 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was up 0.69% or 1.4 points to 203.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 5.16% or 11.4 points to trade at 209.5 at the close. Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) declined 4.53% or 22 points to end at 468 and Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) was down 3.77% or 21.5 points to 549.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 99 to 46 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.73% or 26.9 to 1013.5.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.03% or 0.21 to $20.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 5.73% or 1.51 to hit $24.84 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 8.60 to trade at $1605.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.97% to 6.8315, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4654.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.62% at 99.710.
