Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.03% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 1.71% or 4.8 points to trade at 285.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 1.21% or 1.1 points to end at 92.1 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was up 1.08% or 2.8 points to 263.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 1.23% or 1.4 points to trade at 116.5 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 0.94% or 3.1 points to end at 325.7 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 0.66% or 5.4 points to 807.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 59 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.37% or 0.80 to $57.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.09% or 0.69 to hit $62.52 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% or 5.45 to trade at $1461.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.16% to 6.7902, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4716.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 98.310.
