Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Real Estate and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.02% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 1.34% or 160.00 points to trade at 12,140.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 1.27% or 150.00 points to end at 11,980.00 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 0.67% or 0.70 points to 105.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 0.98% or 1.70 points to trade at 171.80 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 0.52% or 4.40 points to end at 846.80 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was down 0.43% or 1.60 points to 374.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 71 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.59% or 0.42 to $72.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.61% or 0.47 to hit $77.62 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 9.45 to trade at $2,074.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.07% to 6.74, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 100.92.
