Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 4.48% or 27.6 points to trade at 643.6 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 4.05% or 9.2 points to end at 236.2 and Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) was up 2.94% or 3.9 points to 136.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which fell 3.95% or 8.90 points to trade at 216.70 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 3.16% or 4.3 points to end at 131.7 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 1.44% or 7.1 points to 485.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 60 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 3.06% or 1.54 to $51.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.17% or 1.28 to hit $60.37 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1230.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.04% to 6.5624, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4624.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 96.817.
