Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate, Consumer Goods and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.01% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.22% or 365.00 points to trade at 11,700.00 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 3.03% or 6.30 points to end at 214.30 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 3.01% or 330.00 points to 11,300.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 3.73% or 5.10 points to trade at 131.70 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 1.89% or 39.00 points to end at 2,026.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 0.46% or 4.20 points to 912.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 54 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.03% or 6.30 to 214.30.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.46% or 0.36 to $78.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.31% or 0.26 to hit $83.01 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 9.95 to trade at $2,384.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.13% to 6.86, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 104.35.
