Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Industrials and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.01% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 1.93% or 7.4 points to trade at 390.1 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 1.50% or 149 points to end at 10085 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 1.28% or 14.0 points to 1111.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which fell 0.70% or 4.8 points to trade at 683.0 at the close. Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) declined 0.63% or 1.0 points to end at 156.7 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 0.51% or 4.0 points to 788.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 58 to 58 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.59% or 0.41 to $69.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.45% or 0.35 to hit $77.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 7.20 to trade at $1204.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.42% to 6.3965, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4561.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 94.73.
