Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.94% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which rose 3.10% or 9.6 points to trade at 319.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) added 1.77% or 6.0 points to end at 345.1 and Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) was up 1.31% or 8.0 points to 619.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (COP:GN), which fell 1.14% or 1.8 points to trade at 156.3 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) declined 0.45% or 70 points to end at 15460 and Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) was down 0.37% or 1.1 points to 293.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 71 and 2 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.53% or 0.25 to $47.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.15% or 0.65 to hit $55.27 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.31% or 3.70 to trade at $1191.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.32% to 6.8342, while EUR/DKK rose 0.08% to 7.4621.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.23% at 97.42.
