Investing.com - Airline stocks were experiencing a sell-off on Wednesday, with Delta Air Lines Inc (NYSE:DAL), American Airlines Group (NASDAQ:AAL), United Continental (NYSE:UAL), Alaska Air Group (NYSE:ALK), Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV) and JetBlue (NASDAQ:JBLU) all seeing their share values down, most of them in the 2-3% range.
According to Seeking Alpha, news out today that could have driven the move lower was that Iceland-based budget airline WOW Air will start service from four Midwest cities: Detroit, St. Louis, Cincinnati, and Cleveland.
