Australian Markets Decline at the Start of Trading

Stock markets in asia were trading in a mixed fashion at the beginning of the week. The Japanese market was closed on Monday for a bank holiday. The Australian S&P/ASX was declining slightly by 1.40 points. The sectors show that there are more declining with utilities dropping the most, by 1.47 percent. Meanwhile, financial services and automobiles were advancing 1.54 percent and 0.50 percent respectively.
The MSCI Asia Pacific Index has gained 0.22 points or 0.19 percent during the session.
Overnight, Japanese banks were closed for a bank holiday on Monday. Meanwhile, the Australian S&P/Asx was declining 1.40 points (-0.03%) to 4,751.50.
Crude oil for November delivery was recently trading at $72.08 per barrel, higher by $0.31.
Gold for November delivery was recently trading higher by $2.50 to $1,051.10.
