(Reuters) - Bank of America has appointed 30-year veteran Brian Weinstein to a newly created role as head of its EMEA Global Markets division, according to a memo seen by Reuters on Monday.
Weinstein will also become the head of EMEA fixed-income, currencies and commodities trading, subject to regulatory approval, the memo said.
He was recently serving as co-head of Global Credit Trading at the second largest U.S. bank, and has also worked in its New York and London office.
In the new role, Weinstein will report to Jim DeMare, president of Global Markets, and Bernie Mensah, president of International.
