Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Personal & Household Goods and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.24%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which rose 2.83% or 2.00 points to trade at 72.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 2.75% or 8.5 points to end at 317.2 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 2.56% or 225 points to 9005 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which fell 2.28% or 12.0 points to trade at 514.5 at the close. Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb) declined 0.99% or 2.9 points to end at 288.8 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 0.94% or 7.5 points to 808.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 44 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.43% or 0.92 to $38.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.00% or 0.40 to hit $40.45 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 1.03% or 13.10 to trade at $1259.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.18% to 6.6856, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4587.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.04% at 96.15.
