Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD89.61 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.25%.
It earlier traded at a session high USD89.64 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD86.87 and resistance at USD91.36.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.07% to trade at USD82.83.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery rose 0.24% to trade at USD105.66 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts standing at USD16.05 a barrel.
