Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.49% or 15.0 points to trade at 618.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 1.68% or 1.40 points to end at 84.75 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.46% or 8.0 points to 555.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 1.88% or 230 points to trade at 12010 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.86% or 220 points to end at 11600 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 1.29% or 9.0 points to 688.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 58 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.40% or 0.21 to $52.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.69% or 0.40 to hit $57.52 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.89% or 11.56 to trade at $1290.14 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.27% to 6.3262, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4415.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 93.11.
