Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Petrochemicals, Multi Investment and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 9.62% or 5.10 points to trade at 58.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) added 8.88% or 1.54 points to end at 18.88 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was up 4.29% or 0.70 points to 17.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:1214), which fell 6.42% or 0.88 points to trade at 12.82 at the close. The National Shipping Co. (SE:4030) declined 5.58% or 1.95 points to end at 33.00 and Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (SE:1304) was down 4.90% or 1.30 points to 25.25.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 110 to 54 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.07% or 0.96 to $47.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.89% or 0.92 to hit $49.52 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 1.92 to trade at $1252.38 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.54% to 4.3897, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 93.50.
