Investing.com - Australia’s gross domestic product fell unexpectedly in the last quarter, official data showed on Wednesday.
In a report, Australian Bureau of Statistics said that Australia’s GDP fell to a seasonally adjusted -0.5%, from 0.6% in the preceding quarter whose figure was revised up from 0.5%.
Analysts had expected Australia’s GDP to rise 0.3% in the last quarter.
