Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Energy & Utilities and Real Estate Development sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 2.34%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Ground Services Co (SE:4031), which rose 9.43% or 3.80 points to trade at 44.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810) added 9.20% or 2.40 points to end at 28.50 and Middle East Healthcare Co (SE:4009) was up 9.18% or 4.75 points to 56.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020), which fell 10.98% or 0.90 points to trade at 7.30 at the close. BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) declined 6.42% or 1.15 points to end at 16.75 and Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) was down 6.32% or 1.15 points to 17.05.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 128 to 28 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) fell to all time lows; falling 10.98% or 0.90 to 7.30. Shares in Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) fell to all time lows; falling 6.32% or 1.15 to 17.05.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.85% or 0.96 to $50.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.99% or 1.05 to hit $51.62 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.15% or 1.85 to trade at $1271.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.11% to 4.1118, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 98.06.
