Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Consumer Goods and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 2.33% or 0.106 points to trade at 4.646 at the close. Meanwhile, YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 1.31% or 0.10 points to end at 7.33 and Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) was up 1.30% or 0.120 points to 9.345 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which fell 3.52% or 0.180 points to trade at 4.930 at the close. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) declined 3.21% or 1.03 points to end at 31.02 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was down 2.04% or 0.55 points to 26.46.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 111 to 68 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.31% or 0.10 to 7.33.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.14% or 0.59 to $52.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.02% or 0.51 to hit $50.34 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.02% or 12.95 to trade at $1255.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.38% to 1.1162, while EUR/GBP rose 0.39% to 0.8827.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.45% at 96.56.
