Investing.com – House prices in the United Kingdom rose less than expected in June, industry data showed on Wednesday.
In a report, Nationwide Building Society said house prices rose a seasonally adjusted 0.1% in June, following an increase of 0.5% in May.
Analysts had expected an increase of 0.3%.
Following the release of the data the pound was down against the U.S. dollar, with GBP/USD shedding 0.1% to hit 1.5046.
