WASHINGTON, April 13 (Reuters) - China will not act under outside pressure to revalue its yuan currency and does not believe the world's economic problems are tied to its exchange rates, Vice Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai said on Tuesday.
"It is not justified for outiders to exert pressure (on the currency) and we will not take action under pressure," Cui told a news briefing following the nuclear safety summit in Washington where U.S. President Barack Obama and Chinese President Hu Jintao also discussed the currency issue.
