(Reuters) - Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and American Airlines Group will develop a sixth terminal that would open by 2025, the companies said on Monday.
DFW Airport will invest $3 billion to $3.5 billion in the construction of Terminal F and in improving the existing Terminal C.
American and DFW Airport expect the investment to be financed by bonds and repaid through airlines rates and charges over the life of the bonds.
DFW Airport catered to 69 million passengers in 2018.
