AMD (NASDAQ:AMD) announced today it has finalized an agreement to acquire Nod.ai, a move aimed at enhancing the company's open AI software capabilities.
The acquisition includes a skilled team that has developed leading-edge software technology for accelerating the implementation of AI solutions optimized for various AMD products such as data center accelerators, AI processors, EPYC processors, SoCs, and GPUs.
This strategic move aligns with AMD's AI growth strategy, which emphasizes an open software ecosystem that facilitates customer engagement through developer tools, libraries, and models.
