Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) is set to capture the spotlight next week as it launches its first in-person GPU Technology Conference in five years, featuring a keynote address by CEO Jensen Huang on Monday, March 18th.
In a Friday note, Stifel analysts said they expect that, alongside the usual product roadmap updates, there will be a heightened emphasis on NVDA's comprehensive platform strategy.
This strategy aims to cater to a wide range of accelerated computing applications, encompassing AI, HPC, Automotive, and Omniverse.
“We believe that NVDA’s AI success is rooted in success with accelerating diverse data center workloads at scale,” analysts wrote.
Alongside the platform shift from general-purpose (x86) computing to accelerated computing, which the chipmaker has identified as a potential $1 trillion opportunity, analysts expect Nvidia “to provide more detail on the company’s “AI Foundry” services and “AI Factory” data center concept, which, combined, could drive an additional $1T opportunity.”
