PARIS, June 17 (Reuters) - Italian defence company Finmeccanica is seeing signs the economic crisis is bottoming out, though it is unclear how long a recovery will take, Chief Executive Pierfrancesco Guarguaglini told Reuters.
Guarguaglini confirmed Finmeccanica's 2009 revenue target and said newly acquired U.S. unit DRS would meet or exceed its U.S. orders goal for the year.
Finmeccanica will decide within weeks whether to partner with Northrop Grumman on the C-27J project or go it alone, Guarguaglini said in an interview at the Paris Air Show.
It will also scrap plans for a stock market listing for its Ansaldo Energia unit if markets stay weak and search for minority investors for the business instead, he said.
Guarguaglini added that he was unaware of any interest from Libya or Abu Dhabi state investment agency Mubadala in buying a stake in the company.
