Investing.com - Agilent’s shares were climbing during Tuesday’s after hours session after the company reported strong third quarter results and raised its full-year guidance.
The company earned $191 million, or 59 cents per share, 9 cents above midpoint guidance and 7 cents above analysts' expectations. Revenue was $1.11 billion, representing growth of 7% (versus midpoint guidance of 4.0%)
The company increased its fiscal year 2017 core revenue growth guidance from a midpoint of 5% to a midpoint of 6%, and increased its fiscal year 2017 non-GAAP earnings guidance from a midpoint of $2.18 to a midpoint of $2.30 per share.
Shares were up over 4% in post-bell trade.
