After-Hours Stock Movers:
United Airlines (UAL) stock rose 6% after it reported strong fourth quarter results and issued full year 2024 EPS guidance that topped consensus estimates.
- Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL), American Airlines (NASDAQ:AAL) and Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV) all traded higher in sympathy with United.
Digital World Acquisition Corp (DWAC) declined 3% after surging 88% during the regular session. The Donald Trump-linked SPAC climbed after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' decision over the weekend to suspend his candidacy.
Vroom, Inc. (Nasdaq: VRM) declined 20% after it announced that it is discontinuing its ecommerce operations and winding down its used vehicle dealership business in order to preserve liquidity. Company anticipates that approximately 800 employees will be impacted.
Adicet Bio, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACET) declined 13% after it commenced an underwritten public offering of its common stock and, in lieu of common stock to certain investors, pre-funded warrants to purchase shares of its common stock.
B. Riley Financial (RILY) declined 4% following a Bloomberg report that said Franchise Group’s CEO Brian Kahn will step down. A separate Bloomberg report over the weekend said the SEC is probing B. Riley over its links to Kahn.
Sagimet Biosciences (SGMT) declined 7% after surging 170% during the regular session following positive trial data for its treatment of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis.
