Investing.com - Anheuser-Busch InBev agrees to sell its 54.5% stake in Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) to Coca-Cola for $3.15 bn. CCBA operates in South Africa, Namibia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Ghana, Mayotte and Comoros. AB InBev also to sell Coca-Cola bottling operations in other African and Central American countries for an undisclosed sum. Coca-Cola plans to refranchise the operations it has agreed to buy. AB InBev has been offloading assets after its merger with SABMiller (LON:SAB) to form the world's largest beer maker.
