WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham on Wednesday called out fellow Republican President Donald Trump, saying his remarks in the wake of last weekend's violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, were dividing the nation and at odds with many Republicans' views.
"Your words are dividing Americans, not healing them," Graham said in a statement. On Tuesday, Trump "took a step backward by again suggesting there is moral equivalency between the white supremacist neo-Nazis and KKK members who attended the Charlottesville rally and" others opposed to such groups.
