NEW YORK, Oct 14 (Reuters) - Bank shares led stocks lower on Thursday as investors fretted that a widening foreclosure crisis could undermine the market's strength over the last five weeks.
* The Dow Jones industrial average edged down 1.51 points, or 0.01 percent, to end unofficially at 11,094.57. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index eased 4.29 points, or 0.36 percent, to finish unofficially at 1,173.81.
