TOKYO, April 1 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei average opened little changed on Friday as a weaker yen provided support after posting solid gains over the last two sessions, but investors were reluctant to take large positions ahead of U.S. jobs data later in the day.
The benchmark Nikkei average climbed 0.02 percent to 9,757.28, while the broader Topix rose 0.18 percent to 870.96.
