(Reuters) - Second seed Alexander Zverev will be looking to reach his first Grand Slam quarter-final when he faces big-hitting Russian Karen Khachanov in the French Open on Sunday.
The German 'wunderkind' is heading into the match on the back of two grueling five-set encounters but he remains more concerned about just getting the job done.
"I'm trying to win matches," Zverev said. "If it takes me three sets, great. If it takes me five sets, that's also great
"It's all about finding a way. Even if you're not playing your best, it's all about finding a way to win and finding the right solution to the right moment."
World number 38 Khachanov, who has dropped just one set in three matches so far in the tournament, will make his second consecutive appearance in the last 16 at Roland Garros.
Former champion Novak Djokovic has shown signs of rediscovering his form in Paris and will hope to continue his steady progress against Spanish veteran Fernando Verdasco.
In the women's draw, second seed Caroline Wozniacki has conceded only 11 games on her way to the fourth round but will expect a sterner test against 14th-seeded Russian Daria Kasatkina.
U.S. Open champion Sloane Stephens is also in action, with the American facing Anett Kontaveit of Estonia.
