XIAMEN, China, Sept 8 (Reuters) - The yuan's moves in recent days have been normal and its exchange rate is determined by market forces, Chinese commerce minister Chen Deming said on Wednesday.
The yuan closed lower against the dollar on Tuesday, reversing slight gains earlier in the day, as caution that the central bank could rein in recent gains sparked late selling, traders said.
The yuan has risen just about 0.5 percent against the dollar since China depegged its currency on June 19.
