SINGAPORE, April 20 (Reuters) - British Trade and Investment Minister Mervyn Davies played down concerns about the pound's recent slide, saying it would help the country export its way out of the financial crisis.
The pound's low level provides "a huge opportunity" for exports, Davies said during a business lunch in Singapore on Monday. (Reporting by Nopporn Wong-Anan; writing by Harry Suhartono; Editing by Jan Dahinten)
