WASHINGTON, March 4 (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner will make a one-day trip to Germany next Tuesday for talks on the economy and on events in Libya and Iran, the Treasury Department announced on Friday.
Geithner will make stops in Frankfurt and Berlin for economic talks. "He will also discuss global efforts to impose sanctions applying maximum pressure on the Gaddafi regime, as well as sanctions against Iran for its failure to meet its international obligations," the Treasury said.
