ISTANBUL, April 10 (Reuters) - The Turkish Treasury declined to comment on Friday on newspaper reports that the government had reached a deal in principle with the International Monetary Fund on a major loan agreement.
Turkish newspapers, quoting Economy Minister Mehmet Simsek, said that the deal would cover all of Turkey's foreign financing needs. Newspaper Radikal said that the deal could be worth as much as $45 billion and would be signed for a three-year term. Other newspapers quoted different amounts.
The Turkish Prime Minister's office also declined comment. (Reporting by Thoams Grove and Paul de Bendern; Editing by Ron Askew)
