WASHINGTON, Dec 18 (Reuters) - Daniel Tarullo, President-elect Barack Obama's nominee for a seat on the Federal Reserve Board, would replace serving Fed Governor Randall Kroszner, a spokesman for Obama said.
"Tarullo is being named for the slot previously held by Randall Kroszner," said Obama spokesman Nick Shapiro.
Kroszner's term on the board expired in January, although he can serve until replaced. President George W. Bush had nominated Kroszner for a second term, but the Senate never approved the nomination. (Reporting by Caren Bohan; Editing by Theodore d'Afflisio)
