SHANGHAI, May 15 (Reuters) - The People's Bank of China may make minor adjustments to its monetary policy, Zhou Xiaochuan, the governor of the central bank, said on Friday.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a financial forum, Zhou did not go into details.
The PBOC on Thursday said it would stick to a moderately loose monetary policy that has triggered rapid credit growth so far this year to support the economy. [ID:nLE923369].
Zhou also said the liquidity unleashed by policies being implemented at the global level to counter the financial crisis could lead to fresh asset bubbles. (Reporting by Xie Heng and Jackie Wong; Editing by Alan Wheatley and Chris Lewis)
