WASHINGTON, March 12 (Reuters) - President Barack Obama said that the Group of 20 must have a strong statement against trade protectionism and that there had been some movement toward containing protectionist sentiment.
It was important to make sure that countries do not fall back into protectionism, he said.
"So far at least we're seeing some movement to contain protectionist sentiments in these various domestic markets but we have to build on that," he told business leaders.
