NEW YORK, Sept 23 (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama said he and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev agreed in talks on Wednesday that serious additional sanctions must be considered if Iran does not respond in its nuclear standoff.
Obama told reporters after the meeting that he was committed to keeping up diplomatic efforts with Iran but that if the nuclear issue cannot be resolved, it poses a problem worldwide on nuclear non-proliferation.
