SEOUL, Dec 4 (Reuters) - North Korean related media has confirmed that the reclusive state has revalued its currency, Yonhap news agency said on Friday.
The Chosun Sinbo newspaper said the revaluation went into effect at the end of November, Yonhap cited the pro-Pyongyang publication as saying.
The impoverished North last revalued its currency 50 years ago to stop inflation in the aftermath of the 1950-53 Korean War by making its 100-won note changeable with a 1-won bill.
